To ensure a strong Romanian presence, we are partnering with ROTSA, the Romanian Tech Startups Association, and Techcelerator, one of Romania’s leading early-stage technology startup accelerators. Founded in 2018 and backed by GapMinder Ventures, a €45 million venture capital fund, Techcelerator has played a pivotal role in supporting the growth of innovative startups across Central and Eastern Europe.
Through this partnership, we aim to identify and support some of the most promising Romanian technology startups with international growth ambitions, helping them access investors, strategic partners and new markets through Luxembourg Venture Days.
The initiative aims to create relevant connections between Romanian entrepreneurs and the European investment community. Participating startups will have the opportunity to engage directly with leading venture capital funds, business angels, family offices and corporate innovation teams, including organisations such as EBAN and LBAN.
In addition to high-quality networking and matchmaking opportunities, Romanian founders will benefit from visibility among international investors, access to specialised ecosystem events, and the possibility of participating in startup pitching opportunities organised during the conference.
Delegates will also gain access to the Inside Startup Luxembourg session on 13 October, 4.30pm, at the House of Startups (Big Bang room), designed to introduce participants to Luxembourg’s dynamic innovation ecosystem and facilitate early networking opportunities.
For investors, Luxembourg Venture Days offers a unique opportunity to discover high-potential startups and scaleups from across Europe, explore emerging technology and investment trends, and develop cross-border partnerships between Romania, Luxembourg and the wider European ecosystem.
